Attend Anywhere is giving Orthodontic Practices the ability to initially assess patients remotely and Will Fitzpatrick has developed an instructional video to show patients how to produce a short video of themselves, using their smartphone, that can be used for assessment purposes. Will said ‘These videos are useful to assess whether patients have good oral hygiene and meet NHS criteria for orthodontic treatment. We are advising many of our patients to send in videos like this prior to their NHS orthodontic consultation’. The patient’s parents have given permission for the images to be used.

As demonstrated, the patient should retract their cheeks, turn to show right and left profile, open and close and show occlusal surfaces.
